At least 30 artworks will be chosen for an exhibition at the luxurious Hotel de Rougemont and SPA in Gstaad, Switzerland.
Each selected artist will present multiple artworks (3-5 artworks, possibly more). The final number of artists selected will be decided by the jury.
Awards:
1st Place: 2-nights stay at the hotel for 2 people and access to the SPA
2nd Place: 1-night stay at the hotel for 2 people and access to the SPAĀ
3rd Place: 1-nights stay at the hotel for 2 people and access to the SPAĀ

All accepted to the online exhibition artworks will be displayed with the creatorās link to website or social media and will receive an extensive promotion.

The theme is “Open”, show us your best artwork in any medium or style.
We would like to offer a maximum flexibility, you can win one of the money prizes (Honorable Mentions) without having to participate in the physical exhibition.
The artworks for the physical exhibition will be selected by the panel of Juries from the hotel under āExhibition atĀ Hotel de Rougemontā.

Artwork selected for the physical exhibition must be shipped to Hotel de Rougemont between: February 24, 2025 to March 4th, 2025

Artworks shipped back / collected: only on May 12-13, 2025
Eligibility ā All artists over 18 years old may enter.
Media – 2D works in all types of media, including photography.Ā
Format for applicationā We are accepting photo content, Video art is not accepted this time. You can enter the contest multiple times.
Dimensions – artworks must not exceed these dimensions together with the frame: L120 x H120 x W 5 cm
All the selected 2D artworks will be displayed on the walls and must have hanging wire.
Judging Criteria ā Creativity, originality, unique and innovative execution, aesthetic impression, and overall original impact of the approach. As well as, quality of pictures, as the selection process is done online.

Sales ā If a sale happens as a result of the physical exhibition a commission of 30% will be charged.
Administration Cost of Entry ā
Early Entry: Until November 30th: 70 USD for up to 5 artworks. From December 1st: 90 USD for up to 5 artworks. Entry Fee is non-refundable.Ā
If you would like to participate in the contest and compete for money prizes (Honorable Mentions, Merit Awards), but NOT interested in physical exhibition, please add: āNo Expoā in the āArtwork Priceā field in the application form.
Image Requirements-
– Image should not exceed 2MB.
ā Image should be in jpeg format.
ā File name should be as Example: colors_john_smith.jpeg
ā Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.
– Important: no frames, walls or any other objects that are not a part of the artwork should be visible on the images of your 2d artworks, with an exception for sculptures and 3D works.Ā
Please Request your Certificates of Participation by email, after results of the competition have been announced.
Important:
- The artist is responsible for shipping costs of the artworks to and from our exhibition location. Please make sure to include package boxes that can be re-used for shipping back and prepaid return labels. Artwork received without prepaid return labels will not be shipped back. Drop-off and pick up in person are possible.
- All 2D artworks delivered to the hotel must be wired for hanging
- All 2D artworks delivered to the hotel must be ready for the exposition: framed or have their sides of the canvas painted
- Please donāt send any unsolicited artworks to the hotel, before the judgement or after. Only the artworks selected and agreed with you in our communications by email will be displayed
- If the artworks are not picked up/ programmed to be sent between Ā May 12 and 13, 2025, the artist will be charged a penalty of CHF 50 per artwork, per day. This penalty will be billed directly to the artist to cover storage and handling costs incurred by the hotel.
- All the artworks must be available for the exposition for the ENTIRE period of the exhibitionĀ
- First 3 Winners prize: hotel stay vouchers will be valid for 1 year.
- Please check our website to view the competition results. We will contact only the winners, Merit Awards, Honorable Mentions, and physical exhibition participants by email with further details and instructions.
- Influence Gallery andĀ Hotel de Rougemont ensures care and custody of the works received, however we decline any responsibility for damage to the artworks, theft or loss by the courier and during the detention of the works. The artist is the only one responsible for taking an insurance for artworks during the entire period of physical exhibition, including the delivery.
