Winter is a season of contrasts—serenity and resilience, stillness and transformation. This theme invites artists to explore the essence of winter, whether through its natural beauty, emotional depth, or symbolic meaning. From snow-covered landscapes to the quiet reflections of the season, seasonal holidays or even the traditions and stories inspired by winter, this theme encourages a wide variety of interpretations that capture its unique spirit.

Results announced on our website & start of the online exhibition: January 15, 2025

Eligibility – All artists over 18 years old may enter.

Media – sculptures, photography, paintings, digital and other 2D works in all types of media. 

Format for application– We are also accepting Video art in only GIF format. Convert your video (MP4,MPEG, AVI and other files) into GIF format to apply. Use converters, for example like ezgif.com

Multiple entry – You can enter the contest multiple times.

Judging Criteria – Creativity, originality, unique and innovative execution, aesthetic impression, and overall original impact of the approach. As well as, quality of pictures, as the selection process is done online.

Sales – If a sale happens as a result of the online exhibition, NO commission will be charged.

Image and Video Requirements-

– Video in GIF format only. Use videos of max 10 seconds before converting to GIF.

– Image should not exceed 2MB.

– Image should be in jpeg format.

– Your Files should be labeled as Example: colors_peter_smith.jpeg

– Image and Video should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.

– Important: no frames, walls or any other objects that are not a part of the artwork should be visible on the images of your 2d artworks, with an exception for sculptures and 3D works.

• This is an Online-only show, no physical exhibition will happen as the result if this competition.
