Over the years, I expressed myself with painting in many different forms, mediums and styles, my path has lead me inexorably, to try and capture that elusive quality of light, that only a shimmering sunset, dawn of a new day, dazzling sparkle of reflection off lake or ocean presents to one who is prepared to both look and to see. I like to employ bold and vigorous style, both in the use of colour and handling of paint, as I explore the effect of light on the subject and emotions given by the painting. Seeking atmosphere through techniques and colour, I often work in varying degrees of abstraction.

I’m an self-taught illustrator who enjoys sketching figures and experimenting with still life. While animals aren’t my usual subjects, I do give them a shot. I find it fascinating to animate my drawings and often create them as GIFs to bring them to life.
