„Nature teaches us so much, you just have to look!“ According to this motto, Yvonne Praeger looks for and finds her motifs in flora and fauna. The trained design technical assistant discovered painting early on. In her artworks she concentrates on the natural color nuances. She wants to express her fascination for nature with the targeted use of color, light and shadow. The Artist has a penchant for realistic painting and delves deeply into the complex details of her motives. With her art, Yvonne wants to capture the beauty and uniqueness of nature and encourage the viewer to take a closer look. “Especially in this day and age of climate change and species extinction, it is even more important that people see how unique, colorful and lively nature is. I want to reawaken enthusiasm – for the little wonders of nature!” Yvonne Praeger lives and works in Switzerland. She is represented at leading international art fairs and has received awards for many of her artworks.
